Through Alfaloc’s ecological strategy, Iberdin acquires more environmental awareness and the accounting of the tons of CO2 emitted in its shipments.
After accounting for the emissions from each service, the pollution generated can be offset by supporting projects that reduce or remove carbon dioxide emissions from the atmosphere, such as the development of renewable energies and the protection of natural resources, allowing, thus, another step towards carbon neutrality. This awareness led Alfaloc to invest in a new project that aims to create a balance between the service that best suits your company and the impact it may have on the environment.
What is the Alfaloc "For a healthier environment" certificate?
Each year, in the course of the normal activity of your company, you ask for shipments. These shipments can be of different types: Airplane, Truck, RACE, etc.
Some services are more eco-friendly than others. And each type has an associated CO2 emission, which are calculated according to the method shown in the Preliminary Report, which you can find out more on the Alfaloc website.
The Alfaloc certificate “For a healthier environment” counts
the number of services performed with Alfaloc in the past year;
the tons of CO2 emitted due to the performance of these services;
recommendations for more ecofriendly choices.
